This is a record of my time at Pt England School in Auckland, New Zealand.
Konnichiwa Alisha! It's great to see you blogging this summer. I am particularly thrilled to see that you have chosen to blog about Japan. It is one of my favourite places to visit and I actually had the pleasure of living in Nagano City, Japan for about a year while I worked as an English teacher. It was a pretty amazing experience and I learned to love to eat sushi. My students in Japan ate sushi for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Do you like sushi? I think that it's quite an acquired taste but once you get used to it, it's pretty delicious. I wish that I could convince my son, Aronui, to eat it but he still won't give it a try. I'm working on it!I hope that you will continue to work on your blogging this summer and will join us on the Summer Learning Journey over the next few weeks. We would love to read what you have to say and to share this journey together!Wishing you a wonderful start to 2016.Sayonara,Rachel

Hi Alisha,It's great to see you chose Japan! Have you ever tried Japanese food? I love it, and I am missing it a little now that I live in Germany. The sushi places and little Japanese noodle bars and restaurants in Auckland are actually very good! Cheers,Carolyn
